Pop Night with Jonathan Toubin

New York Night Train's rock-and-soul impresario, Jonathan Toubin, goes for something a bit different tonight—rather than concentrate on obscurities, he'll be spinning actual hits from the ’50s and ’60s on vinyl (as is his wont), in an effort to demonstrate the difference between analog and digital sound. (Hint: Toubin, right-thinking man that he is, comes down on the side of full-bodied analog.) As always at a Toubin event, you'll be treated to go-go dancers, projected visuals and surprise guest DJs.
