Dance Theatre of Harlem performs Robert Garland's Gloria
Last year, the historic black ballet company regrouped after an eight-year hiatus. For its second season, DTH showcases past-carry-forward. Choreographed by Thaddeus Davis and Tanya Wideman-Davis, the work explores the Great Migration of African-Americans to the industrial Northeast. The run also includes Ulysses Dove's Dancing on the Front Porch of Heaven, Petipa's Pas de Dix from Raymonda, Robert Garland's New Bach and more.
