Latifa Laâbissi

Laâbissi draws from research on French colonialism and her own background as the daughter of Morroccan-born parents in Self Portrait Camouflage. In the piece, the choreographer assumes a variety of roles to investigate the immigrant experience and the effects of post-imperialism.
