Time Out says

A married couple (Tergesen, Lynskey) invite friends to spend New Year's Eve with them at a country house. Everything is superficially fine until the titular blond (Community's Jacobs)---who the husband may or may not have slept with once upon a time---shows up unexpectedly, and everybody starts reopening old wounds. Even by the stultifying standards of everything's-screwed ensemble movies, Joseph Infantolino's thirtysomething drama feels particularly threadbare. Just because your characters bicker, and your camera shakes slightly, doesn't mean you're mining veins of truth or insight any more than such things make you Edward Albee or John Cassavetes.
