It’s not often that performers like Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi get upstaged by a movie’s sets, but the Art Deco production design in this movie is so fabulous that the plot almost seems beside the point. Also on the bill is Fred Zinnemann's documentary The Wave/Nets (1935).
