Brewklyn Homebrewer's Contest and Festival

Home-brew masters offer up their finest suds at this Brooklyn beer fest. Taste 20 local varieties, including Kate Boicourt’s the Venus de Gowanus and Tony Bellis’s Summer Thyme Belgian Pale Ale, and vote for your favorite. Suds-friendly grub will also be on offer: bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches from Bagel Store, locally cured meats and panini from Charlito’s Cocina, and fiery samples of Piñata Hot Sauce. The winning hops-head will get to donate $500 to the local charity of their choice.
