This Brooklyn Afrobeat band—which has collaborated with TV on the Radio and shared stages with Amy Winehouse and Paul Simon—play a vibrant concoction of funked-up, sinuous guitar lines, vigorous brass blasts and groovy organ riffs within 12-minute rhythm bombs. You won't find a better musical pick-me-up than Antibalas' tunes, and for a decade-old institution, this lively crew still has a lot of spring.
