Unlike many of its old-school death-metal contemporaries, Cannibal Corpse has actually improved with age: As demonstrated on 2012's Torture, he band is now faster, heavier and more ferociously ambitious than it was when it cut genre touchstones such as Tomb of the Mutilated. Tonight, frontman George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher & Co. headline the local stop on the Decibel Magazine tour; support comes from Napalm Death and Immolation, both fellow veterans currently operating at peak strength.
