Counting Crows + The Wallflowers

Counting Crows hit the road again in 2012, supporting their first release in four years, Underwater Sunshine, a covers album. Though the band certainly has as many rabid detractors as cultish fans, we fall somewhere in the middle. Sure, Adam Duritz & Co. have a penchant for the sappy, but at their best, their country-pop rock blend can be warm and surprisingly affecting. Like-minded rootsy singer-songwriter Jakob Dylan leads his Wallflowers in support.
