Omaha act Cursive, distinguished from its emo peers by its danceable rhythms, noisy thrust and slyly self-reflective lyrics, celebrates the reissue of its 2003 breakout record, The Ugly Organ. Expect a set heavy on fan favorites from the band's early-2000s output. Supporting at Bowery Ballroom, Philly crew Beach Slang plays consummately hooky, guitar-driven tunes heard on two superb 2014 EPs; the group's debut LP is due later this year on Polyvinyl.
