David Amram Meets the Amigos

Formerly known as the Tres Amigos, the Amigos Band serves up a heaping helping of Bob Wills–style Western swing, with side orders of zydeco, bluegrass and jazz. Here, as part of Café au Go Go Revisited, the group collaborates with peripatetic musical mad scientist and world-music pioneer David Amram, who performed at the storied ’60s-era Village club that gives the series its name.
