"Fats Waller: Handful of Keys"

Jazz in July. The 92nd Street Y's immensely classy traditional-jazz celebration kicks off its latest six-concert series with a spotlight on singer, composer, and swing- and boogie-piano stylist Fats Waller. Bill Charlap, the prodigious keys man behind the festival, is joined onstage by vocalist Carol Woods, clarinetist Anat Cohen, trumpeter Randy Sandke and a smoking rhythm section.
