Time Out says

When Miriam Linna and Billy Miller launched Norton Records in 1986, their passionate advocacy for raw, primitive vintage rockabilly, R&B and garage rock couldn’t have been less fashionable. Countless releases later, the pair’s efforts have led to their obsessions being embraced by a worldwide audience. Here, the label teams up with Kicks Books—publishers of neopulp paperbacks by everyone from Harlan Ellison to Sun Ra—for a holiday bash featuring ’60s-era rocker Randy Fuller, Dictators member Andy Shernoff, local blues wild man Daddy Long Legs and more. (The fun continues Dec 6 with a screening of Pushin' Too Hard, a new documentary on L.A. garage-rock trailblazers the Seeds.)
