Local fringe-rock luminary Dave Shuford—whom you might remember, Troy McClure–style, from No-Neck Blues Band and the still-active D. Charles Speer & the Helix—and his new band Rhyton air their cosmically throbbing jams, informed by Greek and Middle Eastern music and heard on the recent Kykeon LP. Local psych-rock mainstays Weird Owl and killer garage-rock crew Prince Rupert's Drops set the stage.
