Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds + The Pimps of Joytime

Brooklyn collective Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds is a big band, eight members strong, fronted by a vocalist with a big voice, one Arleigh Kincheloe. They'll serve up a spicy slab of New Orleans funk with dashes of reggae, blues and Latin jazz. Coheadlining these two Bowery shows is local funk group the Pimps of Joytime.
