Spy Music Festival

Back in 2010, former employees of the legendary ESP-Disk label regrouped to found Northern Spy, which aims to do for the 2010s Brooklyn avant-garde what its mothership did for downtown Manhattan a half century ago. Get to know the imprint's increasingly impressive roster at this two-nighter, which starts on the LES tonight with Charles Gayle, Loren Connors and Suzanne Langille, and others, and moves to Williamsburg for the Sun 8 finale, which features NYMPH, Sean Lennon and Deerhoof drummer Greg Saunier's Mystical Weapons collabo, Aa and more.
