Blues-rock collective Tedeschi Trucks Band—which features Allman Brothers Band ax slinger Derek Trucks and his wife, singing guitarist Susan Tedeschi—plays a three-nighter uptown. Support varies each night: white-haired piano star Leon Russell on Thursday, Medeski Martin & Wood bassist's side project the Wood Brothers on Friday, and British folk-rock icon Richard Thompson on Saturday.

Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2012 release "Everybody's Talkin'" is the start of the blues revival movement within my iTunes! They are not a band to miss in 2012. With the band they put on stage and the aesthetically beautifying performance they present, this will be a no brainer pick top shows on the year. Cannot wait for night one - September 19!!
