The Nightwatchman is the solo project of Tom Morello, the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine. But don't expect to hear any of the axman's patented pyrotechnic riffage: In this guise, Morello does world-weary protest folk with wooden lyrics and the occasional Pogues-ish fanfare.
