Bop drum master Albert "Tootie" Heath, spark plug of jazz institution the Heath Brothers and collaborator with countless legends—not to mention a formidably rakish wit—celebrates a milestone birthday in the company of friends and family. Pianist Ethan Iverson and bassist Ben Street join Heath on June 5, while pianist Jeb Patton and bassist David Wong take over rhythm-section duties on June 6 and 7. The June 7 sets also feature the drummer's tenor-playing older bro, Jimmy.
