The diner is as much of an East Village fixture as Tompkins Square Park, right across the street. Traditional diner fare (juicy hamburgers, grilled cheese and heaping nachos), plus new classics like huevos rancheros, are served in massive portions and at relatively reasonable prices. Its casual atmosphere and affable service make 7A an inviting spot for a bite to eat after a session at Tompkins Playground.
