Natural elements pervade this trendy Japanese lounge, where a waterfall trickles down a stretch of pebbles, and wooden tables are supported by slender birch or oak trunks. A tropical red-wine sauce adds punch to—rather than overpowering—the superbly crispy duck. The sushi doesn’t need such adornment, particularly the Snow White and the Seven Dwarves entrée—a white tuna and white asparagus roll served alongside six pieces of divine fatty tuna and a hollowed-out cucumber filled with spicy scallops. Only the TV over the bar breaks Mother Nature’s spell.
