Pair homestyle Japanese bites with booze at this 40-seat Asian gastropub. The candlelit space features an oak bar, exposed iron beams and vintage posters of Western movies (Belle de Jour, Notorious) printed in kanji. To drink, choose from sake, soju, Japanese whiskeys (Yamazaki, Hibiki) and specialty cocktails, including the namesake quaff made with vodka, grapefruit and lychee juices, and the milk-based soft drink Calpico. Izakaya eats, like pork shumai and a grilled egg pancake with shredded cabbage, make up the bill of fare.
