Istria Sport Club

Since 1959, the Istria Sport club has been serving up Istrian cuisine, a mix of Northern Italian and Eastern European comfort food at ridiculously low prices. The regulars, a mix of the old neighborhood boys and Italian couples, don’t need menus. First-timers will be guided by a waiter, who might lead you to njoki, plump little potato dumplings sauced with light gravy and chunks of veal, or golden-brown chicken paiarda, pounded thin and served with a potato-and–Swiss-chard mash.
