There’s not much to love at this Mediterranean bistro, named for the Toulouse Lautrec lithographs hanging on the walls. Tunisian chef Rafik Bouzgarrou’s menu includes dishes like a generic cucumber-tomato-and-chickpea salad and salmon linguine—a mess of chewy noodles and off-tasting fish. The North African–inflected burger may be the restaurant’s only saving grace: The lamb patty, seasoned with cumin, harissa, and herbs de Provence, is served on a house-made bun with feta and smoky roasted red-pepper aioli. With a pile of crisp fries, it makes for a satisfying meal…provided you don’t order anything else.
