Time Out says

Opened in Mid-2015, Nazca has been the new hot spot in Astoria people from near and far come to sit in one of our very rustic tables. “Seeing your dreams come to life is the BEST feeling in the world” says Diego Manosalvas, who has sold his cars and motorcycles to get Nazca on its feet. With the help of his mother Alexandra Flores and his friend Carmen Vega, dishes have been flying out of the kitchen. All of the Ceviche recipes on the menu are from the Flores Family. “Every Sunday is ceviche Sunday at my home, Ceviche and a Cusqueña” says Ms. Flores. Carmen Vega was born in Peru, moved to the United States at a very young age to pursue her passion and love for food. Carmen and Diego met shortly after her appearance on television, he saw the passion in her eyes and decided to get in touch with her. Carmen was coming up with ideas left and right, she shared the same vision as Diego, “Let’s show them the real Peru”. Each dish is traditional with a unique twist, very original.
