When the Meatpacking masses are bottlenecked at the door

to Pastis, you can defect to this sweet little alternative. Flowering hydrangea

in Paradou’s bucolic garden are a

pretty backdrop for postshopping (or preclubbing) patrons lingering over glasses of wine. The modern provençal menu ranges from simple salads to haute dishes like short rib cassoulet. For dessert, don’t miss the crêpes wrapped around caramelized apples and calvados or dark chocolate and candied orange.

I would give this place NO stars if I could. And this is just because of my experience trying to make a reservation. I emailed them and every date and time I wanted was taken. (Hence there were a lot of back and forth emails) Eventually he said he can fit me in at 2:30, so I simply asked what time the unlimited drinks goes until, as some places finish at 3pm - so then what would be the point of booking so late, right. This is the response I get: ****this is brunch. its not a constest to see how much you can drink in what period of time. if mass alcohol consumption is what youre looking for, we're not that kind of place. we dont court the problems that come with being that kind of establishment if youre looking for a good time, come to us. if youre looking to see how drunk you can get, another location might serve you best****** I responded saying that I am 30 years old and was not looking for cheap drinks drinks to get wasted on, I was simply asking what time brunch ends and told him that I was shocked by his email. To which he responds: *****with most people it takes less than 12 emails to book a reservation. sorry to shock you. but you must be easily shocked tata******* I have never! I can imagine how bad this place is if this is what the customer service is like of the people who work here. VADIM is the name of this rude, arrogant person. Most of the Yelp reviews are really bad! But I thought I would give them a chance, despite the reviews. I will never come here unless I am unconcious and dragged by my hair! DO NOT GO HERE!
