The beige curtains draped along the walls and looming across the ceiling of Turkuaz’s spacious dining room create the effect of a tent, but there’s nothing rustic about the presentation or quality of the food here. The combination cold appetizer plate assembles six spreads, highlighted by a sumptuous tarama, an invigorating cacik (blending yogurt, cucumber and garlic) and a tangy eggplant stuffed with currants and pine nuts. Continue the sampling with the mixed grill or opt for one of several tender yogurt kebab entrées. Try holding it all in when the belly dancing starts at 10pm on weekends.
