Aesthetician-trained owner and self-proclaimed beauty expert Rebecca Lieberman designed her Gramercy Park salon with ultimate relaxation in mind. The sprawling beauty facility (which is four times the size of the original BeSu a block away) features 11 haircutting stations, each with an oversize brown leather chair and full-length mirror. You’ll be offered a complimentary glass of wine before you get a chop ($40–$60 for men, $75–$95 for women), blowout ($40) or color ($90–$120). Tucked away in the back of the salon is a cozy four-room soundproof spa, which offers citycentric treatments (like Catching the Jitney—an express facial, manicure and makeup application for $140) as well as your typical lineup of facials ($75–$300) and massages ($40–$140).
