Temah DeFranco’s boutique is a study in contradictions: The name hints at a shop purveying rugged, indestructible goods, but the offerings are anything but rough-hewn. DeFranco calls her approach “going back to the basics in quality” and says that the name “suggests items that are entrenched in history, yet are still functional.” To that end, the seductive offerings for men, women, children and the home are a sensualist’s dream come true.
