Duane Cerney and his wife Linda St John branched out of their vintage clothing business by creating their own nostalgic designs; now the D/L Cerney line forms the bulk of the stock in this narrow shop: neat, figure-skimming dresses and nipped-in jackets for women, gabardine shirts and dapper suits for men. Although the collection is made in New York, price points are reasonable: from around $250 for a dress and circa $200 for a gent’s jacket. The selection of mint-condition vintage accessories is a remnant of the shop’s earlier incarnation.
