Time Out says

Born out of a practical need for weatherproof bags built to withstand bike rides through the streets of Zurich, Freitag was founded in 1993 by graphic designers and brothers Markus and Daniel Freitag. The duo transformed recycled truck tarpaulin, car-seat belts, air bags and bicycle inner tubes into one-of-a-kind totes and accessories. The corner Soho storefront marks their first shop on U.S. soil (there are seven other stores in Europe). Discover rows of simple, neatly labeled drawers, which are part of a shelving system that efficiently tucks away more than 1,000 carriers in the cozy space. Large, sporty messenger styles with waist straps ($296) are perfect for securely stowing your stuff while pedaling down city streets, and a roomy graphic-print shopper ($105) will become your go-to grocery-trip companion. The spring and summer collection features sophisticated equestrian-inspired carryalls, like office-chic satchels with laptop pockets ($568) and weekend-getaway-sized bags with flap openings ($605) that make accessing your sunscreen a breeze. Pick up velvet-lined iPhone sleeves ($74) cleverly designed with a lift-up back strap so you can answer your calls quickly, or laptop protector cases crafted from distressed, fume-stained tarpaulins ($105–$117).
