“Imagine if a rocker had a phantasmagorical mini mansion on some Caribbean island in the ’60s,” says designer Maureen Roberts in an attempt to describe the shop’s decor. As proof, codesigner Michael Lublin points out the Swarovski-crystal-encrusted tin ceiling, which he hand painted. And such a vibrant-hued boutique is a fitting backdrop for the designers’ kaleidoscope-colored hippie couture collection.
