Time Out says

Eco-conscious furniture lovers will get their recycled-cotton panties in a twist over owner Ed O’Shaughnessy’s Flatiron District furniture store. O’Shaughnessy scours Asia to select one-of-a-kind hardwood pieces sourced from local carpenters and handmade from earth-friendly materials like recycled wood, old doors, window shutters and antique mirrors. The large gallery-like space also boasts an impressive array of fine hand-spun rustic Persian and tribal rugs ($150–$2,850) made from vegetable-dyed wool imported from Pakistan, Iran and India. Break free from the Crate & Barrel mold by outfitting your pad with paint-scratched end tables created from old Burmese teak floorboards ($575) and solid hardwood cupboards with dome-glass doors ($750). Make up for your electricity-draining flatscreen TV with recycled rosewood media stands trimmed with authentic carvings from old Indian doorways ($1,495). The shop also redesigns, resizes and reproduces any piece in the store as part of its custom-built furniture service.
