Active city dwellers will appreciate the opening of Rockport’s first NYC store in the high-trafficked Queens Center Mall: Now you can stock up on stylish yet comfortable footwear that boasts shock-absorption technology in the heels and won’t punish your feet for walking ten blocks to work. Featuring a palette of warm neutrals punctuated by Rockport’s signature orange hue, the 938-square-foot space showcases men’s and women’s casual and dress shoes ($80–$250), plus handbags and small leather goods ($28–$275) on a well-lit, open shelving system. We’re fans of the ladies’ sea-foam-green high-heeled oxfords ($140) and on-trend studded mules ($130), while dudes can look sleek at the office in classic wing-tip oxfords ($135) and tackle weekend chores in style wearing cap-toe lace-up boots ($200).
