Holland's gift to trance music citizens of the world, Armin van Buuren headlines this New Year's warm-up party at Pier 94. Even to those not particularly in tune to the big-room side of things, AvB is known to be one of the older and more influential names in the genre. From the early days of his radio show A State of Trance (nearing its 700th episode!) and Armin Only concert series to his monumental gigs deejaying for the king and queen of the Netherlands, as well as the national soccer team, AvB has remained loyal to his style and sound, naysayers be damned.
