Bronx Stories

Artists, writers and performers with close ties to the Bronx convene at this ongoing series to tell stories about their oft-misunderstood borough. The Nov 14 musical-themed installment is hosted by poet-actor Caridad de la Luz, known as "La Bruja," and features performances by saxophonist Jorge Castro, pianist Desmar Guevara and others. The evening is capped by an open-mike session during which audience members can share readings and music.
