Chance Encounters

The High Line, enter at 20th St and Tenth Ave. Fri, Sat dusk–11pm. The real-time poetry project Chance Encounters cobbles together random tweets through an algorithm, to produce three lines of verse. The work premiered at the 2009 Art in Odd Places festival and was shown in city galleries. The results—comical, nonsensical or poignant—will be projected onto a billboard between 19th and 20th Streets. For more information, visit multivers.es.
