North Brooklyn is now home to a third farmers' market, as the Domino Park Greenmarket officially opened this past weekend and will welcome shoppers every Sunday between 9am-3pm through November 21.
Patrons will get to browse through fresh meat and dairy products, in addition to locally-grown fruits and vegetables—all while gazing at waterfront views and supporting local farmers. It clearly doesn't get better than this when it comes to food shopping.
Among this year's vendors, expect Body & Soul Bake Shop to carry a whole lot of sweet vegan treats; Liberty Farms to sell certified organic vegetables, pastured chicken, eggs and grass-fed lamb from Columbia County, in New York; and Westmeadow Farm to carry cow and goat milk cheeses alongside cow's butter from Montgomery County—just to name a few.
