I don't really understand the hoopla around this event (and I'm half Italian!) It's just insanely crowded and the same booths over and over, which are mostly county fair-grade sausage and peppers, tall tropical drinks like you'd get on a boardwalk and some carnival rides. I've ended up going multiple times, it's cool to experience once but I don't make it a point to go to the feast. If you go stop by the Church of Most Precious Blood and see the statues. I like to get the traditional candy Torrone, where they chip some off the fresh blocks for you.
I love this feast. The best place you can go is Ferrara Bakery they have the best Italian pastries, coffee and gelato during the whole feast
Amazing place to end your summer the food I have fun every year .day time is wonderful for family and schools. Evenings and Nights are great for couples fabulous buys.I have picture of last year Connie Francis.
