Brooklyn: Meet under the Grand Army Plaza Memorial Arch, intersection of Flatbush Ave, Eastern Pkwy and Prospect Park West, Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
Manhattan: Meet at Jekyll and Hyde, 91 Seventh Ave South between Barrow and W 4th Sts. Sun 24 1:30–6:30pm. Teams must sign up at least one day in advance.
Two scavenger hunts—one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn—send costumed teams across the respective boroughs in search of top-secret haunted sights; the winners of each event must complete the most tasks within the allotted time. (One directive leads the entrants back to each home base for a blindfolded candy taste-test.) Don’t forget to bring a digital camera, as you’ll need photographic evidence from each stop to claim a prize at the end.
