Time Out says

While Williamsburg and Park Slope get all the glory, one of the borough’s less obvious gems is the horrifically titled but otherwise absolutely charming BoCoCa area (that’s brokerspeak for Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens). The lovely little enclave is having its very own street party and craft fair called Funday Sunday (Smith St between Atlantic Ave and Union St; smithstreetbk.com;  11am–6pm; free). You’ll be able to sample some of the best food the ’hood has to offer—Smith Street ain’t called Brooklyn’s “Restaurant Row” for nothing—as well as check out some of the crafts and wares from local stores. And after you’re finished, you can always duck into Clover Club for a well-made cocktail. Or if a dive bar is more up your alley, head to Boat. The neighborhood really is magical: you could make a whole day out of exploring the diverse stores along Smith and Court Streets alone. BoCoCa might need a new name, but it’s a wonderful slice of New York.
