Time Out says

The work of this Swiss artist has been described as “post-Internet art,” a buzzy critical rubric meant to denote the web’s psychological and behavioral impact on society and self-hood. Scherer’s most obvious expressions in this regard are his classical nude sculptures of Emma Watson, based on photos of the Harry Potter heroine downloaded from the Internet. Inspired by the actor’s feminist activism, these objects are a creepy combination of kitsch and cyberstalking made concrete. Here, he portrays Watson as a mermaid sitting on a Thai beach.
