Fans of adventurous improv and sketch comedy flock to Upright Citizens in hopes of glimpsing a current SNL cast member onstage. (People with performance dreams of their own also take classes here.) Don’t expect Whose Line–style antics: The emphasis is on long-form improv, the character-driven style imported from Chicago’s Improv Olympic.
