A bit of luxury in up-and-coming Smíchov, the Julian features a drawing room with a fireplace and a library, both wonderful places in which to relax and unwind after a day spent about town. The hotel has a separate breakfast room for smokers but its lobby bar is non-smoking, a rarity here. All rooms are decorated in a light, understated style; there are apartments with kitchenettes as well as a family room, complete with toys. It's not dead in the centre, but it's only a ten-minute tram ride away.
