The bar is taking 50 lucky readers on a metaphorical journey to the county of Ayrshire, Scotland – home of the iconic Hendrick’s Gin and poet Robert Burns.
From 3pm to 5pm, let Hendrick’s brand ambassador, Charmaine Ann Thio, give you a masterclass on gin as you sip on three different cocktails inspired by the works of the famous bard. The limited-release Hendrick’s Orbium Gin makes an appearance in Anna, Thy Charms, together with lemon, egg white, absinthe, and floral touches of elderflower, pea flower tea. Move on to the refreshing Bonnie Peggy Alison, shaken with gin, peppermint tea, cucumber cordial, green apple, lemon, and soda. There’s also Delia, An Ode, a delectable warm cocktail made from an aromatic blend of English Breakfast and Ceylon tea.
A selection of Scottish-style light bites complements the drinks. Look forward to brown crab croquettes, fresh king scallop tartare with fresh herbs and gin-lime gelee, as well as a beetroot smoked salmon sandwich with pickled cucumber and cream cheese.
