The shelves of organic goodies may be gone, but the former Yogi Hub still brings in a mixed crowd of aunties, Buddhist nuns and the arty set – all smacking their collective lips at the eclectic vegetarian menu and organic fruit juices (try the red cabbage and grapes). The petai fried rice is an unexpectedly wonderful blend of bitter nuts, carrots, brown rice and sambal, while the tofu claypot – filled with gingko nuts, bamboo shoots and asparagus – is the best kind of comfort food. As is the walnut cheesecake.
