Times have changed in the party scene, where a good time out doesn't necessarily equate to late nights and booze. In fact, a new wave of parties that combine great music with 'social wellness' is on the rise – and there's nowhere better to get in on the trend than at Immersion parties.
Big Splash is the latest in Immersion, a party series by Yes You's Nick Levanic and Wild Pearl's Chris Shearmon and Andy Lines. Happening on May 18 at Rumours Beach Club, this alternative party starts bright and early at 10am and ends by 2pm. Soak up the sun as you groove to DJ Leland (more to be announced) and sip Boujee Botanicals concoctions, which are sugar-free, caffeine-free and packed with all the goodness of organic herbs and spices. Rumours Beach Club has also curated a special menu of healthy eats to serve alongside its usual selection of bar bites, with complimentary coffee, tea, or juice for all.
It's a beach party after all, so come in your swimsuits for a dip in the sea – or a dopamine-boosting cold plunge, a signature of Immersion parties. Alternatively, pack your yoga pants for a class with Yoga Movement, which is joining the party with thrice the number of slots compared to its first collaboration with Immersion. To up the ante, Immersion has also invited performing arts troupe Circus of Altrades down to make a splash with festival skills and tricks to get you moving.
