Time Out says

Usher in the Year of the Rabbit together with mascots Fu-er and Shou-er at Gardens by the Bay’s River Hongbao 2023. Be dazzled by lantern displays, spectacular stage performances and other festive activities at the event. Over 18 enchanting lantern displays await at Gardens by the Bay this year. The God of Fortune will be holding a giant golden fish that represents everlasting prosperity, and surrounded by large gold ingots to bring bountiful wealth and good fortune. There’s also a host of entertainment programmes at the main stage every night - think dance and musical performances by Chinese cultural troupes, Getai singers and Mediacorp artistes as well. This year’s festival will also feature a special showcase of Chinese New Year cards from the 1950s to the 1970s in Singapore. The exhibition, The Greetings and Blessings: Chinese New Year Cards Then and Now, uses these cards in a bid to feature the vibrant scenes of a past Singapore while reflecting social trends, Chinese traditions, culture and values.
