The room, down-at-heel and decorated as if by explosion, is one step up from squalor. So obviously it's immensely appealing to slumming university students. Grizzled bikers, sundry reprobates and off-duty longshoremen can all also be found downing their drinks here. Pool tables, a big patio, cheap food and cheaper beer further explain its allure.
