Ridge Theatre review Rate it
With the most iconic theatre awning in the city (complemented with a bowling pin from the alley next door), the Ridge is a characterful cinema a ten-minute taxi ride from Downtown. Opened in 1950, it retains most of its original features, including a balcony fitted with an sound-proofed glassed-in 'crying room' for infants. Programming is erratic, but expect to find 'soft' art-house titles here.
